Passing the civics exam is a requirement for graduation in the state of Arizona. 

A 70% passing rate (70 out of 100 questions) is necessary to meet this graduation requirement.

**April 29, 2026, will be the last test session. **

Time: 

      Starts 11:40am or after your last class of the day

Location: 

       Library

If you can't make the following test dates, the Civics Testing needs to be scheduled by appointment only.

*If these dates do not work, you can schedule an individual appointment to take the exam in person by emailing Ms. Brumer.

If you did not meet this percentage requirement (either because of your score OR you missed your testing date), please make plans to attend the next Civics testing date or schedule an appointment with Student Services.

PSAT Test Date (Mandatory for 10th graders): October 28, 2025 at 7:45am

11th Grade PSAT - Optional

On October 28th, Arcadia High School will host an Official PSAT testing opportunity during the school day. Taking the PSAT is a great way to prepare for the SAT test, which assesses critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills. It also provides opportunities for students interested in qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Although junior students are not required to take the PSAT, the exam does help many prepare for the more rigorous SAT. It is a good measurement of how well you may score on the SAT and can help you target areas for improvement prior to taking the exam.

Registration is available for 11th graders until September 19th, 2025. To register, please go to TouchBase Signin to pay the exam fee or make payment in person through the bookstore. There are no other registration steps other than making this payment.
