Grading System and Related Processes

Due to some universities remaining test optional, many of our students applied to college without submitting a test score. Additionally, Arizona state universities no longer require testing for scholarship or admission purposes. Each year, SUSD pays and registers all juniors for an ACT in the Spring semester. The ACT is used as our state test and is required for all students.

Arcadia grades on a traditional four-point scale with a bonus point for each honors or AP class and uses Latin Honors based on the Overall GPA (all graded courses, weighted). We do not calculate class rank.
