Sports Physicals for SUSD Athletes
Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) athletes must undergo a physical examination — dated after Wednesday, March 1, 2025 — to participate in any Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) athletic practices or competitions.
HonorHealth Sports Physicals
The HonorHealth Sports Medicine team is partnering with SUSD to offer physical exams for SUSD student-athletes at a reduced cost. Exams will be performed by certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, and licensed physicians.
Each exam includes:

A comprehensive orthopedic and general medical evaluation

A heart screening, including an EKG at no additional cost
HonorHealth’s team provides ongoing care for athletes at all SUSD high schools throughout the school year through dedicated athletic trainers and sports medicine physicians.
