The AVIDSA (Advancement via Individual Determination Student Association) is an organization for AHS AVID students. AVIDSA organizes leadership, service, and enrichment activities designed to prepare students for entrance to a university. Students must interview to join this student association.

The purpose of the club is to help students find a passion and love for reading that is stress-free. Because of novel assignments and textbooks, my friends and I have found it harder to enjoy reading. However, we discovered that when you remove the deadlines and other anxiety-inducing factors, it can become a fun and educational activity. We really want to use this club as a way to spread that.

The purpose of Younglife is to build relationships with students, make friends, meet weekly for "clubs," have fun, and go to camp. We talk about real-world issues that are occurring. It serves as a platform to discuss topics such as identity, heritage, and social justice. It serves to educate and organize events that celebrate black culture and foster a sense of belonging. Additionally, it serves as a resource for academic and professional development. This club is indeed open to all races, and it aims to create a space where everyone can learn about and appreciate black history. It encourages cross-cultural understanding by welcoming students of all backgrounds to participate.

The purpose of Light the Way is to offer resources and support that help homeless individuals in our community achieve self-sufficiency and long-term stability. We also aim to foster a strong sense of community. The name "Light the Way'' symbolizes hope and guidance. It reflects the club's mission to illuminate the path for those experiencing homelessness, offering them support and a brighter future. This club would include donation drives with St. Vincent de Paul, volunteer opportunities with St. Mary’s Food Bank, educational videos, and more. We plan to ensure people feel seen, show genuine care and empathy for those struggling, and partner with organizations to maximize impact.

Our club will be working alongside the non-profit "The Lollipop Project." Our mission would be to help create and distribute baskets of supplies for students and schools, set up events and work check-ins, and organize giveaways and donations. We will also have crafts and creative projects such as writing notes and tying lolly tags to lollipops so that they can be distributed to schools and partner organizations.

The Arcadia H.S. Wellness Student Club is organized exclusively for supplemental educational purposes. We serve the purpose of providing a medium for like-minded, goal-oriented, and ambitious students to gather. The Arcadia Science and Math Olympiad Club seeks to increase student interest and understanding in STEM topics by creating a collaborative, fun, and inclusive atmosphere for students to pursue their academic interests. This club provides an outlet to learn and compete in the subjects students are individually passionate about through Science Olympiad competitions as well as the opportunity to learn and participate in the Mathematical Association of America’s competitions. We welcome anyone interested in science or math with open arms regardless of their desire to compete!
